**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our dynamic team at our diagnostics center where we do pre-employment screening. The Patient Care Technician is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients. This role plays a vital part in the delivery of patient care and is essential in ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
**Duties**
- Assist with the care and treatment of patients in our diagnostics center where we help with pre employment drug testing, TB testing, finger printing and more.
- Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, including vital signs, wound care, and basic hygiene.
- Monitor and maintain patient safety and security, including alerting staff to any potential risks or concerns.
- Participate in the education and training of new staff members and assist with the orientation process.
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a patient care technician program or relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and ability to learn new technology.
- Clinic experience is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
