Come join our team as a Resort Guide and provide exceptional guest service in our luxurious hotel! We are seeking an outgoing and friendly candidate who is passionate about hospitality and has excellent communication skills. As a Resort Guide, you will assist guests with various requests such as restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, assisting with questions, and recommendations for local attractions. You will also serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests to enhance their overall experience.
Qualifications
- Have knowledge of the Hotel’s daily operations, banquets, meeting room rates, functions of the day, hours of operation and surrounding area.
- Provide information to guests about the local area to include directions, places to eat, attractions, transportation, shows and childcare.
- Respond to requests from guests for assistance and information, promptly respond to email and voicemail.
- Contact guests prior to stay to develop itinerary of events during stay
- Log all activities including guest comments, inform Manager on Duty of any guest problems that cannot be resolved for further assistance.
- Communicate special events, guest needs and other items of interest to employees.
- Familiarize yourself with local island events and activities
- Bilingual a plus
