Job Overview:

amaran is looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our team and support the growth of our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in e-commerce development, with expertise in headless storefront CMS integration with Shopify and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. This role will not only involve hands-on development but also require some project management skills to ensure projects run smoothly and meet deliverables on time. Additionally, experience in website internationalization and web responsive design will be key assets as we expand our global presence and ensure our platform is optimized for mobile users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Development & Maintenance: Design and build responsive, functional, and visually engaging websites, ensuring seamless integration with various headless storefront CMS (not limited to any specific CMS) and Shopify.
• System Architecture: Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications that support business growth needs.
• E-Commerce & SEO Optimization: Apply expertise in e-commerce platforms and implement SEO strategies to improve performance, traffic, and customer engagement.
• Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor projects. Manage resources effectively, track progress, and deliver projects on time.
• Independent & Team Collaboration: Able to complete tasks independently in a fast-paced environment, while also being an effective team player, providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
• Continuous Learning & Technical Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and practices.
• Internationalization: Lead the development and implementation of features that support website expansion into international markets, ensuring localization, international SEO, and multi-currency support.
• Web Responsive Design: Develop and maintain mobile-friendly, responsive design solutions to enhance the user experience across all devices.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of web development experience, with a proven track record of successful projects demonstrating both creativity and technical proficiency.
• Experience with headless storefront CMS integration with Shopify, capable of developing and customizing sites on this platform.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, with a deep understanding of building and optimizing websites to support product sales.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js, and back-end development (Node.js, PHP, Python).
• Familiarity with API integrations, experience connecting with third-party services such as payment gateways, inventory management, etc.
• Project management skills, able to plan, coordinate, and execute technical projects efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail, offering innovative technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of driving cross-departmental projects forward.
• Experience with website internationalization, including localization, multi-currency support, and international SEO.
• Experience in web responsive design and optimizing mobile-friendly user experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other headless CMS platforms and experience integrating them.
• Experience with e-commerce integrations (e.g., HubSpot as email platform).
• Strong understanding of SEO optimization and use of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
