Amaratek is seeking multiple Ph.D. chemists with expertise in analytical, environmental, or materials chemistry or a closely related field with hands-on experience in Gas Chromatography (GC). You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating GC methods, analyzing samples, and interpreting results. Experience with instruments such as ICP-MS, LC-MS, HPLC, SEM, etc preferred. The ability to work both independently and cooperatively is a must. Candidates will conduct research in the development of capabilities for analytical detection of various agents and compounds of interest. Applicant must be a US citizen.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using Gas Chromatography (GC-FID, GC-MS)
- Develop and validate GC methods for various sample matrices
- Interpret and report analytical data with precision and accuracy
- Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform routine maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects
- Document all laboratory activities in compliance with internal protocols and regulatory standards
- Conduct field tests and evaluations at both domestic and international locations
- Candidates must be able to travel without restrictions
- Willing to undergo back ground checks and drug tests
