Job Summary
The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) will oversee all aspects of human resources management and strategy across the organization. This position will work closely with the executive leadership team to align HR practices with the company’s strategic goals and foster a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and execute HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the company
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, leadership team, and managers on all HR matters, providing strategic direction and guidance to drive organizational success.
- Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies for all levels of employees
- Manage and optimize the company’s benefit programs, ensuring that it provides comprehensive coverage while being cost-effective and compliant.
- Oversee HR operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, as well as consistency with the company’s HR policies.
- Develop and implement best practices for ensuring high levels of communication, collaboration, and productivity across dispersed teams.
- Implement talent management programs, including leadership development, performance management, and succession planning, to ensure the company has a pipeline of skilled leaders and employees.
- Oversee labor relations, compliance with employment laws and regulations, and risk mitigation related to employment practices.
- Act as a liaison for employee feedback and provide appropriate solutions to maintain a positive work environment.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to the executive team on HR metrics such as turnover, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP, Director) within a fast-paced company.
- Experience in ADP, including maintaining and enhancing the HRIS
- Strong background in managing benefit programs, including workers’ compensation, general liability, and health benefits, with a solid understanding of insurance regulations and risk management.
- Proven track record of leading and executing HR strategy in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are a plus.
