Guest Service Advisor

Amare’ Hair Salon is seeking passionate, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Aveda Guest Service Advisors at the front desk. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and are eager to enhance the guest experience in our Experience Retail Center. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on Aveda hair and wellness products and deliver top-tier service to our valued guests.

Qualifications

• Proven excellence in customer service.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional organizational abilities.

• Availability to work 21-24 hours per week, including daytime, evening, and every other Saturday shifts.

• Commitment to ongoing learning, including attending team meetings and educational classes.

• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn salon software.

• Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.

• Social media proficiency.

• Experience in retail and service sales is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the salon daily, adhering to operational protocols.

• Accurately schedule, modify, and cancel guest appointments.

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of salon services, features, and operating hours.

• Educate guests on Aveda home care products for optimal use.

• Warmly acknowledge and greet every guest upon arrival.

• Oversee retail responsibilities in the Aveda store, including inventory counts and product replenishment.

• Maintain the retail center’s cleanliness and ensure it is always guest-ready.

• Actively market the salon, team, and store to clients and the community.

• Quarterly Bonuses:

• 1% commission on total salon retail sales.

Work Hours

• Monday: 2 PM – 8 PM

• Tuesday: 11 AM – 6 PM

• Alternating Fridays & Saturdays: 9 AM – 3 PM
