Job Summary:
The Compliance Officer ensures that all production activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual requirements. They work to identify and mitigate compliance risks and ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory obligations, including compliance with U.S. export and import regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other armament industry and military export controls.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitoring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including ITAR and other military export regulations.
· Identifying and mitigating compliance risks associated with export and import laws.
· Ensuring adherence to contractual requirements.
· Providing guidance and training on compliance matters.
· Reporting on compliance status and issues.
What You Bring:
· In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including ITAR and U.S. export/import laws.
· Technical skills to read and understand product Bill of Materials (BOM).
· Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational and training skills.
· Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively
