Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic office team. This is a Part Time position. As the first point of contact for our customers and visitors, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be computer literate, and have a strong attention to detail. It is a Monday -Friday 12pm until we see last patient.
Duties:
- Greet and check in and check out patients.
- Answer patient phone calls. Scheduling of appointments, sending triage calls to providers and nurses. Follow up calls to patients. Appointment reminder calls and more.
-Update and change patient demographics, scanning and faxing of documents.
- Handle customer inquiries, respond to phone calls, and resolve issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Work on incoming patient/ new patient paperwork.
- Maintain a high level of organization and ensure that the front desk area is tidy and well-maintained.
- Take payments over phone or in person. Proofread and edit documents, reports, and other materials as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Experience working in an office environment, preferably as a front desk clerk.
- Computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to proofread and edit documents accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
