Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality infusion therapy and patient care in a clinical setting. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, diagnostic evaluation, and the ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Administer intravenous (IV) medications and fluids as prescribed, ensuring proper IV insertion techniques are utilized.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and monitor responses to infusion therapies.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed for diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with MDS and HIPAA standards.
- Educate patients and their families about infusion therapies, potential side effects, and care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients, particularly those with developmental disabilities.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment during infusion procedures, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing staff in training or mentoring roles when necessary.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in infusion nursing or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to infusion therapy.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and MDS documentation requirements.
- Experience in travel nursing is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively with patients who have developmental disabilities or aliment-related issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
