Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. Duties
- Perform venipuncture and skin punctures on patients for blood collection
- Label and organize blood samples for processing
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of procedures
- Follow strict protocols to ensure patient safety and sample integrity
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment in the phlebotomy area
Required Skills:
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and safety procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide patient comfort
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with various age groups, from pediatric to geriatric patients
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
