Job Opening: IT Network Manager (IN PERSON POSITION, NO REMOTE APPLICANTS PLEASE)
Job Duties: Provide quality customer service and work toward the generation, promotion and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Amarillo National Bank. Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support Creates the vision, roadmap and strategy for the network department and the bank with equipment, internal digital strategy and various other software applications. Collaborates with various business units within the bank to review, evaluate, design and implement systems and makes recommendations for improvements and changes. Leads project initiatives within the network department to include: requirements gathering, creating scopes and businesses cases, preparing team documentation, participating in design sessions, tracking deployment timelines and making key decisions on any of these items. Maintains effective working relationships with existing vendors (or service providers) and searches for new vendors when necessary to implement new opportunities or enhancements. Participates in contract negotiations and renewals to ensure adequate service levels and cost measures are intact. Anticipate and resolve systems operations problems on an enterprise level and oversee performance, availability, reliability and security of all production systems through the network team. Manage the procurement of IT assets including software, servers, storage, network, workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and telephones. Strong understanding and experience in creating and integrating APIs. Chairperson for some internal bank committees (BYOD, network, etc).
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Cybersecurity preferred. Related work experience can be substituted for education requirement however it would require 12 or more years progressive IT experience and supervision. Experience in employee supervision and project management is required. Outgoing and comfortable interacting and presenting to any size crowd including bank executives. Strong knowledge in computer hardware, software, budgeting, network infrastructure, routing and switching network traffic. Prior experience in a financial institution is helpful.
