Amarillo Pathology Group is seeking a Medical Courier to join our highly trained team.
Amarillo Pathology Group provides leading edge anatomic and clinical pathology services throughout the Texas Panhandle medical communities. The physicians of Amarillo Pathology Group have been serving the hospitals and patients of Amarillo and our surrounding region since 1983. Our mission is to provide our customers with accurate, timely diagnostic support and unparalleled customer service.
Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
The Medical Courier will perform courier duties in a fast-paced setting as per workflow demands. Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. A good driving record is a must with no moving violations within the last 2 years. This individual needs to be able to work the set schedule, including picking up specimens from multiple clients’ offices, lifting bulky items up to 40 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 40 pounds for more than half the shift, and walking frequently for long distances up to 5-10 miles daily. The position requires driving and walking in parking lots during inclimate weather including heat, rain, snow, and ice. The candidate must be friendly and attentive to clients. Work also requires organizing and filing slides in an accurate and timely manner.
