We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager with a heavy focus and encouragement on developing a long-term career path for professional growth within the firm.
We are looking for a Mid or Senior-Level Case Manager who wants to join a high-energy legal team that is at the forefront of litigating and trying cases with ambitions of trying bigger and bigger cases that will affect change in the industry. You must be PUNCTUAL, reliable, passionate, self-motivated, a team player, and have significant experience as a Case Manager at a personal injury law firm.
The ideal candidate will need 3-5 years of experience handling litigation cases in a personal injury firm with duties such as;
- Must be able to handle a file from the initial client intake meeting through negotiation, settlement, closing, & disbursement.
- Responsibilities include some initial preparation of the case file, client management, client communication and satisfaction, preparing demand letters, negotiating settlement of the claim, and negotiating medical bills and liens.
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle a heavy caseload.
- Must be willing to receive constructive criticism as you train and grow within your role.
- Monitoring clients' treatment statuses to ensure compliance & progression of their case.
- Notifying attorneys when their assistance is needed in any aspect of the pre-litigation process.
- Investigating and fact-finding for cases.
- Organizing, indexing, and tracking files.
- Analyzing and organizing information to produce reports.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma is required; Some college experience is a plus.
- Needles experience preferred but is not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have experience in a busy professional setting.
- Must be organized and adept in planning and multi-tasking.
- Attention to detail (i.e., able to prioritize and complete work by deadlines)
- Team player.
