This part-time role has an immediate start date, and is designed for someone who would like to work on weekday afternoons in a clinic setting, with the option to increase your caseload by adding Saturday clinic hours. Job Summary:
- Provide direct therapy services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in family and caregiver education to support patient progress and generalization of skills.
- Engage in regular supervisory meetings and feedback sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
- Contribute to team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in occupational therapy.
Required Knowledge, skills, abilities:
- A certification in OTA from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure.
- Strong treatment clinical skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
Preferred qualities:
- 1 years' experience working in pediatrics.
- Experience working with sensory integration difficulties.
- Experience working with individuals with ASD.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if necessary).
Compensation & Benefits:
- The hourly range for this position is $26 to $35 depending on level of experience and amount of time spent providing direct patient care.
