Job Summary:
- Provide direct therapy services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in family and caregiver education to support patient progress and generalization of skills.
- Engage in regular supervisory meetings and feedback sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
- Contribute to team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations for children ages birth to 18 with various diagnoses, including autism, expressive and receptive language delay, phonological disorders, fluency, social skills difficulties, etc.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure.
- Strong clinical skills in the treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to organize and complete all documentation in a timely manner.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
- Experience working with augmentative communication devices.
- Experience working with feeding challenges.
- Experience working with individuals with ASD.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if necessary).
- 2 years' experience
- The hourly range for an SLP in this position is $40 to $55, depending on experience level and time spent providing direct patient care.
- PTO accrued based on the hours worked during each pay period.
