What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Amass Solutions LLC?
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Ensures that the correct job-related information is accessible and facilitates the necessary resources to complete the required tasks.
- Monitors non-conformance (scrap/rework/warranty) and advises site manager to ensure quality/safety on all projects.
- Provide timely information to relevant personnel, ensure the availability of necessary tooling and resources with calibration wherever necessary, to do the job.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES
- Provides consultation and assists in resolving unforeseen problems during manufacturing
- Orders tools and supplies required for specific jobs.
- Assists with production scheduling, participates in daily/weekly production meetings when required and recommends strategies to correct deviations from schedule.
- Implements, supervises and holds responsibility for good housekeeping activities, safe work practices, effective and efficient operation using established policies and procedures.
- Assists with safety and environment audits, customer inspection visits and training activities.
- Maintains a high standard of personal conduct and morale in the department.
- Maintains a high degree of visibility throughout the day.
- Promotes and adheres to company policies.
- Performs additional activities as assigned by management.
- Overall administration of the shop floor for day-to-day function.
- Supports TPM across the Shop floor to manage the targeted up-time of machines.
- Create monitoring procedures to control scrap & rework costs. Manage coordinated efforts to eliminate the root cause of the quality problem and employee recommendations.
- Initiate methods to control efficiency levels of machining operations. Take necessary action to ensure that products are produced at the lowest possible cost and in the shortest lead-time with the highest quality.
- Initiate methods to monitor and control product costs of critical path component parts.
- Administers a program of good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility, Resolve Safety issues and fosters a work safe environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working within the Manufacturing or Refining Industry as a technical professional or Administrative professional.
- Experience working within computer software systems such as MS Word, Excel, ERP Time keeping programs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Diploma and advanced technical training or equivalent experience in the field of turbo machinery or Manufacturing.
- Detailed working knowledge of shop practices, repair, safety, personnel, and administrative procedures.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills are also required.

Pay: $37.00 - $52.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
