Job Title: Cleaning Technician (Night Shift)
Shift: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Location: Recycling Facility
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our night shift team at a recycling facility. As a Cleaning Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility. Your primary responsibility will be to clean the conveyor belts and ensure the shop area is free from excess trash. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain conveyor belts to ensure smooth operation.
- Use air blowers and other equipment to clear excess trash from the floors and surrounding areas.
- Ensure that all trash and debris are removed from the shop area and disposed of properly.
- Perform regular inspections of the facility to identify areas that need cleaning or attention.
- Adhere to safety standards and use protective equipment as required.
- Work closely with facility supervisors and other team members to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
Requirements:
- Ability to work night shifts from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or working in a recycling facility is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work with industrial cleaning equipment, including blowers and vacuums.
