What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at AMATROL?

Amatrol is looking for a CNC operator to join our team. This position will be responsible for operating a CNC lathe and CNC milling.
What you'll be doing:
- Produce products and components to specifications using CNC machines.
- Select appropriate tools and materials used in production per setup instruction.
- Monitor machine performance during the machining process.
- Identify component defects and take corrective action to solve the problem.
- Maintain and clean machines.
What do you need to be considered for the job?
- 1 year CNC training or work experience.
- Knowledge in the fundamentals of machining.
- Ability to read blueprints and other product specification documents in English.
- Ability to problem solve. Must be an organized, self- motivator that can work independently.
- Dependable - arrive at 6:00 am and be ready for the day.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
