What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Publisher position at AMATROL?
Amatrol is growing and we need help in our desktop publishing group. Are you the person to take us to the next level in Desktop Publishing? You will help create new detailed electronic documents for our multimedia and publishing groups. What Will You Do?
- Desktop publish manuscripts and other documents
- Operate print center equipment and software to produce high quality professional products.
- Develop, organize, and maintain printed materials and electronic files.
How Do You Get The Job?
- Provide a Resume showing concise chronological relevant work experience
- Provide a Digital Portfolio showing relevant desktop publishing or graphic designer skills
- Must be able to work in the print shop to assist our printer as needed
- Must be able to run print room equipment
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Maintain and organize multiple job responsibilities
- Excellent organizational skills include ability to work independently with high level of self-motivation and produce detailed work accurately
- Strong communication and interaction skills – be able to create clear, concise written and oral communications, to assess a desktop publishing needs from a variety of sources, and to interface constructively with others (team members, and other Amatrol departments)
- Must be able to produce high quality work at a fast pace
- Must be able to work on-site at our Jeffersonville, Indiana location a minimum of 4 days per week
