What will you be doing?
- Achieve operational objectives by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; proposing solutions and improvements
- Monitor, efficiencies and guide performance of team members. Escalate any personnel issues with team members to the Management Team
- Provide training and ongoing support to team members.
- Review trainers for technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness.
- Actively promote a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing safety standards and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
What do you need to be considered for the job?
- High school diploma required. An associate technical degree or equivalent experience in a technical occupation is strongly preferred.
- Experience in first-line supervision and manufacturing with a minimum 1 year experience.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills including high level of self-motivation and independent work
- Moderate spreadsheet skills – able to recognize when to use a spreadsheet, know how to effectively organize data, make charts, etc.
- Strong communication and interaction skills – able to create clear, concise written and oral communications, to read/create documents in English, and to interface positively with others (team members, other departments, vendors)
- Knowledge of core manufacturing processes including CNC and manual machining, welding, finishing, printing, assembly practices, tools, electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
