THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR PART-TIME MATERIALS AND FLEET MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
THE SCHEDULE:
You'll be working the second shift, ensuring that our fleet is refueled, organized, and ready to go while preparing materials for the next day's projects.
YOUR ROLE:
As a part-time Materials and Fleet Maintenance Technician, your day is all about keeping our fleet and materials in top shape. You refuel and organize our trucks as they return to the yard, ensuring each vehicle is clean, restocked with tools and consumables, and ready for action. You carefully review the next day's material list, making sure everything is set for transport. Throughout the day, you assist with inventory control, receive shipments, and properly store materials. Conducting regular inventory audits, you work closely with the materials manager to guarantee accuracy and efficiency, always identifying ways to prevent potential issues before they arise. With a strong attention to detail, you manage material storage and keep our operation running seamlessly.
