About the Role
This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of young patients while working closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients and families on mental health conditions, and maintaining accurate documentation. Additionally, you will participate in case discussions, treatment planning meetings, and quality improvement initiatives. For this position, we require an MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program, board certification or eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and active and unrestricted Maryland medical license. Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting is essential, as is strong diagnostic, clinical, and therapeutic skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also required.
