Salary Range : $350,000 - $400,000
Skills Required :
- General Practice or Family Practitioner background preferred
- Active license to practice in Missouri
- DEA certification required
- Board certified preferred
- Experience in corrections strongly preferred

Our client is a correctional facility in St. Louis, MO that is looking for a Medical Director to oversee clinical operations and maintain standards of care.
About the role :
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Medical Director in a correctional setting. The Medical Director will be responsible for managing the healthcare program, ensuring that all patients receive appropriate medical attention, and that all treatments are compliant with the Department of Corrections' policies and procedures and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. The Medical Director will work closely with Advanced Nurse Practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to oversee all aspects of healthcare delivery.
