Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced People Services Director to lead and oversee the hospitals human resources department. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective people strategies, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation management, training, and leadership development.
Develop and execute strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws, as well as hospital policies and regulations.
Provide strategic counsel to the hospitals leadership team on workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
Supervise and mentor a team of HR professionals, promoting their professional growth and development.
Act as a key liaison between leadership and staff to address concerns, promote transparency, and ensure a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Masters degree preferred.
A minimum of 57 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in a healthcare setting.
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development principles.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
