Amaze Behavior Consultants is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our ABA team as a Registered Behavior Technician (or equivalent certification)!
Amaze Behavior Consultants is currently hiring for in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) positions. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting children with Autism and related disorders by implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs. We aim to improve a child's ability to perform daily tasks independently and decrease behaviors that disrupt their daily routine. We achieve this by creating individualized programming and by educating families on these principles, ultimately improving the quality of life for both the child and their loved ones.
What You'll Do:
- Implement individualized therapy programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in various settings, including homes, day-cares, and sometimes schools.
- Maintain a positive, fun, and supportive learning environment for clients.
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy by collecting accurate and detailed data on client behavior to track progress
- Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to motivate and encourage desired behaviors.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers to ensure consistent implementation of therapy programs.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Walk, move, stand, sit, crawl, and play with the clients to promote a healthy therapeutic relationship
- Engage in professional communication with team members
Requirements:
- Must have a passion for working with children of all backgrounds and abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a FBI/DOJ fingerprint background check
- Strong compassion, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, written and verbal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Positive reinforcement philosophy and a passion for helping children succeed.
- TB Test
- (Preferred but not required) 1 years of experience working with children with disabilities
- (Preferred but not required) Basic understanding of ABA principles
- (Preferred but not required) Availability from 2-7 for the clients who are in school during the day
