We are looking for a Psychiatrist to provide statutory supervision for Advance Practice Providers as we grow our virtual mental wellness practice. The business is run by PMHNPs. We provide a holistic approach and bridge services to local resources; we do not manage or prescribe controlled substances. Physicians provide supervision and serve as resources to our interdisciplinary team to include NPs, Licensed Counselors and Nurses, as needed. Minimal time required to consult and conduct periodic reviews. No need to be on call. Exciting, fast growing, paradigm shifting business. Greater involvement is possible for those Physicians who may be interested.

- Ask intuitive questions to discover causes of illness
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history
- Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information
- Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
- Collaborate with other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Counselors and Nurses to form a high performing team
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients
- Remain up-to-speed with developments and best practices mental health
- Proven experience as a Psychiatrist in a
- Experience in providing care in a telemedicine setting
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics with mental health disorders throughout the lifespan
- Broad knowledge of common mental health medication, side effects and contraindications
- Respect for patient’s confidentiality
- Doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) - in good standing
- DEA License
- Licensed in all 50 states - active Puerto Rico licensed, a bonus
