Fulltime Opportunity
Role: Application Security Analyst with Pen Testing
Location: Dallas, TX / Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Duration: FTE
JD:
- Conduct regular software security scans using tools such as AppScan, Coverity, SonarQube, or similar tools, as directed.
- Analyze scan results to identify potential security vulnerabilities in new and existing code.
- Collaborate with developers to understand and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
- Track and monitor the status of identified vulnerabilities and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security scanning processes and procedures.
- Ensure that no new vulnerabilities are introduced into applications or platforms before release.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of our software development lifecycle (SDLC) from a security perspective.
- Stay up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities, threats, and industry best practices. Qualifications:
- Hands on experience in application security or software development with a security focus.
- Familiarity with common software security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Experience using at least one software security scanning tool (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Basic understanding of software development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Security certifications (e.g., Security , CEH).
- Experience with cloud security.
