Position: Network Devices (Routing, Switches) - Data Center

Location: Seattle, WA

Skill 1 – 2 years of experience in data center operations or a related field

Skill 2 – Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network devices.

Skill 3 – Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with data center equipment and systems.

Skill 4 – Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for data center operations

Skill 5 – Develop and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams, schematics, and procedures

Skill 6 - Ensure compliance with data center standards, policies, and procedures

Must Have:

1)Data Center Infrastructure, Technical Documentation, Storage System, Network Devices

2) Installation, configuration, and maintenance of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network devices.

Nice to have Skills:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Good to have experience with scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell

Responsibilities & Outcomes

Install, configure, and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network devices

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with data center equipment and systems

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking and replacing air filters, cleaning equipment, and monitoring temperature and humidity levels

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data center systems with other IT infrastructure

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams, schematics, and procedures

Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for data center operations

Ensure compliance with data center standards, policies, and procedures

Ideal candidates have/are:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

2 years of experience in data center operations or a related field

Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network devices

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Good to have experience with scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell
