Pay Rate: $60 on Contact W2

Role Overview
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will:

• Spearhead the design and deployment of machine learning models to solve intricate business problems.
• Develop and execute a forward-thinking data science strategy that aligns with our organizational goals.
• Leverage advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, NLP, and computer vision, to derive valuable insights.
• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Drive data-driven decision-making by collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams.
• Stay on top of the latest trends in data science and continuously innovate to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development: Build, test, and deploy machine learning and statistical models that solve complex business problems.
• Data Strategy: Define and lead the execution of a comprehensive data science roadmap to support organizational objectives.
• Advanced Analytics: Apply advanced analytics methods like predictive modeling, optimization, NLP, and computer vision to drive business insights.
• Leadership: Mentor junior data scientists, fostering team growth and promoting best practices in data science.
• Big Data Management: Work with large, complex datasets using tools like Spark, Hadoop, or Dask to generate actionable insights.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between data science initiatives and business needs.
• Data Visualization: Create data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
• Innovation: Keep up with industry trends and new technologies to continually improve the team's data science capabilities.
• Documentation: Ensure clear documentation of processes, models, and systems to support transparency and reproducibility.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 15 years of experience in data science or related fields, with a proven history of leading successful data-driven initiatives.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Python, R, or Julia.
• Extensive experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or XGBoost.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
• Familiarity with big data tools like Spark and Hadoop.
• Database Knowledge: Proficient in SQL, and experienced with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their ML/AI offerings.
• Data Visualization: Strong experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing projects, and mentoring junior professionals.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced techniques like deep learning, reinforcement learning, or AI research.
• Domain expertise in industries like finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.
• Contributions to open-source data science projects or publications in reputable journals.
• Certification in data science, AI, or cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
