Pay Rate: $60 on Contact W2
Role Summary
As a Senior Python Developer, you’ll:
- Spearhead the development of high-performance, scalable systems built with Python.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design robust, future-ready solutions.
- Mentor and inspire junior team members to foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay at the forefront of technological advancements to ensure our platforms remain competitive.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Create, optimize, and maintain Python-based applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Leadership: Conduct thorough code reviews, provide strategic technical guidance, and drive team success.
- System Architecture: Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable system structures.
- Problem Solving: Address complex challenges with creative and effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, data engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation for codebases, systems, and processes.
Required Skills
- Essential:
- 15 years of professional development experience, including 10 years of expertise in Python.
- Proficient with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Strong understanding of RESTful services, API design principles, and microservices.
- Extensive experience with both relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB/Redis) databases.
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Desirable:
- Exposure to front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
- Experience with AI/ML tools and libraries.
- Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows.
