Help Amazing Athletes JumpBunch create a healthier, happier & brighter world by guiding kids through fitness and movement-based activities! Our curriculum focuses on fighting childhood obesity by teaching kids to care for their physical and mental health through non-stop movement and engaging physical fitness activities. Our coaches get to introduce kids, ages 18-months to 12 years old, to over 75 different sports and fitness activities year-round! Amazing Athletes and JumpBunch provides the equipment and lesson plans…all you need is a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of kids!
This is a summer position with 15-30 hours per week through early August and can lead to part-time employment in the fall if interested. Please make sure your current financial situation supports this…like you have other part-time employment or you’re a stay-at-home parent just looking to get out of the house for a few hours a week. We’re also a great fit for college students who are interested in a career working with children and looking to gain experience.

Our Coaches:
- Are experienced in teaching or coaching young children.
- Build a fun, cheery environment with lots of smiles and laughter. They know how to be silly and get kids to smile while keeping a safe and structured program
- Show the maturity to work independently with minimal supervision
- Adhere to all company policies
- Properly complete all requested paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare for all classes by reviewing approved, age appropriate lesson plans, music, and equipment.
- Set up and begin each class on time
- Properly instruct children in the use of our approved curriculum and equipment
- Monitor attendance of all registered children
- Wear provided uniform shirts, and represent our company with professional appearance and conduct
- Communicate with parents both verbally and in writing as needed to report children’s progress
- May participate in delivering birthday parties, special events, and trial classes
- Participate as requested in training and meetings of the business
- Provide own transportation with adequate auto insurance coverage and transports all equipment necessary to execute weekly classes
- Demonstrate an ongoing passion for sports and/or fitness
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Good Physical condition, able to bend, kneel, stoop, jump, jog, and otherwise move actively to execute a class. Must be able to occasionally carry large amounts of equipment.
- Able to provide reliable transportation
- Background and passion for sports and fitness
- Patience and desire to teach young children.
- Ability to communicate with customers ranging from young children to facility directors.
- Prompt, reliable, and able to work independently with no direct supervision.
- Possess an understanding of basic customer service skills.
During the first week of training, you will be required to complete the following
- Medical statement signed by a doctor or nurse practitioner indicating you are fit for employment in this setting and have updated immunizations. This will be required to be completed during your training period.
- State and federal fingerprint background check. You will be required to complete a fingerprint background check during your training period. Both medical statement and background check are covered by Amazing Athletes.
Hours:
- Approximately 15-30 hours per week in the summer which will typically fall weekdays, between the hours of 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Evening and Saturday morning hours will also be available
- May lead to fall part-time employment 10-20 hours/week if desired
Salary : $18 - $24
