What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Show Host position at Amazing Escape Room?
Amazing Escape Room and Bury the Hatchet have created a new offering called the Game Show Challenge and we are looking for outgoing, dynamic, and entertaining people to host the game show.
About the Show:
Game Show Challenge is an exciting new localized game show where the customers are the contestants! They will compete in various popular game show challenges including trivia, survery questions, word puzzles, and physical challenges.
About the Host:
The host (you) needs to be very outgoing, quick witted, and engaging. The host leads the customers through all of the different game shows. They introduce the rules, read the questions, and judge the answers, all while entertaining the contestants and insuring they all have a great time!
Host's Responsibilities:
- Introduce the show, contestans, and explain the rules of the game.
- Lead the transitions between the different game segments.
- Engage with the contestants to keep the energy up.
- Commentate during the challenges to entertain guests and any observers.
- Work with the quiz system to ensure that everything is functioining proplery.
Host's Qualifications
- Must have experience performing live in front of large groups.
- Possess an infections personality that resonates with a variety of demographics.
- Should have great improvisational skills to keep up with the guests responses.
- Needs an understanding of comedy to keep groups entertained.
- Sales skills to be able to get customers to keep coming back for more!
Hosts will get paid $35 per game show and will have the ability to recieve tips and other bonuses as well!
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.50 per hour
