Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with dog training exercises to promote good behavior and socialization.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including kennels, play areas, and equipment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of the dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dogs' activities and needs.
- Implement animal restraint techniques when necessary to ensure safety during handling.
- Keep accurate records of each dog's care routine, including feeding schedules and any special requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred.
- Knowledge of dog breeds, behavior, and basic training techniques is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to handle active dogs and perform cleaning duties throughout the day.
- Certification in animal restraint or first aid for pets is desirable but not required.
