Job Title: Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to train and supervise home health aides in both classroom and clinical settings.
The ideal candidate should be bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent communication and time-management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct PCA Training programs, including PCA/HHA In-service & Orientation
- Perform as a teacher, facilitator, and clinical role model in the area of expertise
- Motivate and inspire individuals to become skilled home aides
- Review and sign off on employees' annual and initial health documents
- Initiate home care visits and reassess patient needs and progress on a regular basis
- Supervise home health aides during days without classes
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse license
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Ability to work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
