The Principal Broadcast Engineer will spearhead the studio engineering efforts of our burgeoning Live Production Technical Operations team. This role will collaborate closely with our Head of Production Operations & Strategy to conceptualize, implement, and maintain cutting-edge production systems in our Herald Square studio and in the cloud. The Principal Broadcast Engineer will engage with both external and internal stakeholders to assess, recommend and implement technologies / systems that optimize our studio / remote productions. This role will be responsible for IP frameworks, signal flow / workflow documentation, integration of studio on-prem and cloud networks, and all other network architecture required to support global systems. In addition, this role will work with other internal teams to ensure seamless integration with their networks as required. Additionally, this role will oversee all on-site engineering requirements for the Live Production team in New York.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
