In this position as a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, you will engage in hands-on electrical and mechanical operations and troubleshooting, ensuring our data centers provide the highest standards of service for customers. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining and operating essential equipment such as stand-by diesel generators, switchboards, UPS systems, and more.

Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain the facility’s mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment and respond to incidents efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including filter changes and HVAC servicing.
- Support Data Center Operations technicians in their tasks.
- Perform root cause analysis on equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols during work.
- Document processes and procedures effectively.
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts in a 3 or 4-day schedule.
- Take daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Manage workflows and spare parts inventory using our internal systems.
- Oversee contractors performing maintenance services.
- Respond to emergency calls during off hours on a rotational basis.
- Adhere strictly to physical security policies and procedures.
- Innovate solutions that reduce operational costs.
Physical Requirements :
This position requires the selected candidate to be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance, with the expectation to obtain and maintain TS / SCI clearance with polygraph post-hire.
