Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our data centers, ensuring the reliability and availability of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center
- Troubleshoot facility equipment and rack-level events
- Perform limited maintenance tasks, including filter changes and HVAC PMs
- Provide support to Data Center Operations technicians
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures
Requirements:
- 3 years of maintenance experience on mechanical or electrical equipment
- Experience operating electrical or mechanical systems in a mission critical environment
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
