Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages. Manage installation network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment. Guide staff on best practices. Manage tasks and deliverables across small to large-size projects. Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs. Provide weekly report to data center manager. - Minimum of 5 years in data center technology (prior management/team lead roles preferred)
- Broad understanding of infrastructure technologies installation and design
- In depth knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment, and experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies within a data center-based environment.
- Past experience with building physical data center such as copper/fiber cabling, power distribution, data center racking and installation of network hardware, either as a manager or individual contributor
- In-depth hardware architectures knowledge and troubleshooting experience
