This role will fall under the Supply Chain organization for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Power & Cooling team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a creative critical thinker with a deep curiosity and learning drive. You must be able to communicate appropriately and effectively with people at every level. As a member of the Power & Cooling team, you will manage Procurement Operations activities for Power and Cooling Equipment supporting AWS datacenter build projects. You will be responsible and accountable for accurate and timely RFQ, supplier onboarding, purchase request entries to make sure that the right equipment arrives at the right place at the right time. You will work with our internal customers and business partners to identify accurate information related to RFQ, supplier onboarding, purchase request entries and timing requirements as well as remove any blockers from progressing the procurement process to the next stage. You will also drive process automation and work with the tech development team to create advanced automation solutions. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
