The Next Generation Developer Experience (NGDE) Science team is seeking an enthusiastic Applied Scientist committed to developing innovative services and tools for developers that leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies. You will collaborate to design AI-driven services for Amazon Q Developer, with the goal of transforming the developer experience. This team collaborates closely with other AWS AI services like AWS Bedrock, the AWS IDE Toolkit, and Amazon Sagemaker. Key Responsibilities :

The AWS Next Gen DevX (NGDE) team is dedicated to reshaping the development landscape for builders. Here, we create AI products that enhance the IDE, the AWS console, and various web-based tools and services. Our mission is to empower developers with AI assistance for code generation, feature development, and application creation while exploring new technologies and delivering innovative solutions.

Our compensation reflects market conditions across the various U.S. regions, with base pay ranging from $136,000 to $223,400 per year, depending on geographic location and job-related expertise. In addition to salaries, Amazon offers equity, signing bonuses, and a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
