Key job responsibilities
As a Principal Product Manager (Technical), you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle from defining product vision to specific feature definition, prioritization, positioning, naming, pricing, go-to-market support and feature adoption.
As a Principal Product Manager you will:
- Understand and champion the needs of diverse AWS customers. This involves interacting with highly technical customers on product feature calls, customer briefings, customer advisory boards, and other structured feedback mechanisms.
- Develop product vision and strategy; translate it into clear deliverables for engineering teams.
- Own the strategy behind feature development, pricing, naming, and the P&L of the business
- Launch new products and implement go to market plans that will drive awareness, engagement and strong customer adoption
- Lead key strategic investment areas of AI/ML/LLM Ops and Observability
- Be an industry thought leader representing AWS at conferences such as re: Invent
Working closely with and across agile teams, you will be able to see and feel the impact of your work on our customers. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
