Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that all items are secured for transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Navigate routes using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of goods as required, Max 50 pounds.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and any discrepancies encountered during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role.
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong skills in loading and unloading products, with experience in heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
