NOW HIRING PACKAGE DELIVERY DRIVERS
We are seeking safe and reliable Delivery Drivers to join our team. Candidates will be responsible for delivering packages to customers’ homes and business locations in a safe and timely manner. This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
STARTING PAY: $22.50 per hour
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicle at all times
- Safely and timely deliver packages to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Use handheld device for routing information and customer delivery information
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper/safe handling
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
- Must enjoy physical activity - this is a very physically active job!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
