Sr Risk Mgr, Compliance Operations, Amazon Health Services

We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Risk Manager, Compliance Operations to join us on our journey to revolutionize healthcare accessibility. Our mission is to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy. The role will own several critical compliance operations initiatives, including managing key programs across our bar-raising 7-Elements of an effective healthcare program. Responsibilities include overseeing hotlines and investigations, supporting One Medical integration opportunities, and further developing our proactive compliance program.

A successful candidate in this role will be a self-starter who is passionate about healthcare compliance and building out this function. This person should be able to earn trust and effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the company, including pharmacy operations, legal, and internal audit teams. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to think big and be creative in delivering results. The ideal candidate must be capable of working both independently and collaboratively. As part of the AHS Compliance team, this person will be expected to consistently raise the high bar of compliance and operational excellence as we rapidly grow, scale, and innovate.

The role requires extensive experience in healthcare compliance and risk management, with a strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards. A proven track record of program management, process improvement, and stakeholder management is crucial. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced, growing healthcare organizations and be adept at maintaining high standards while scaling operations. Key job responsibilities
Establish successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute both tactical and strategic initiatives.

Deliver ambiguous and complex projects with minimal oversight.

Develop detailed, data-driven narratives to inform senior leaders of risk levels, mitigations, and impact
Maintain a strong understanding of best-in-class risk and control Healthcare principles, and related regulatory expectations – embed governance processes to perform recurring gap analysis against those expectations.

Effectively manage relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, legal, compliance, and operations teams to design and deliver on a risk management roadmap.

Have direct experience in executing the Seven-Elements of a Compliance Healthcare Program

The Sr. Risk Manager will leverage their experience to scope, design, launch, and manage highly complex initiatives driving risk mitigation strategies that influence Amazon’s Healthcare Services business. The individual will work collaboratively with compliance, legal, finance, and tech teams to implement world-class, customer-centric, risk-reducing solutions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6 years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent
