Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). We are looking for Principal Business Analyst to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology, who thinks/acts globally, and has the ability to create and implement solutions to business questions. . This person consistently employs high judgment and makes data-driven decisions, leading by example and influencing the team to do the same.
Key job responsibilities
Apply advanced analytical techniques, such as statistical modeling and data mining, to derive actionable insights from complex, ambiguous data sets.
Perform deep-dives and data analysis across multiple regions and/or globally to identify best practices and areas of opportunity. Provide recommendations based on analysis and insights.
Conduct in-depth analyses of sales performance, churn, usage behavior across multiple regions and/or globally to identify and surface impactful recommendations.
Develop and lead design and execution of global reporting solutions for business-to-consumer team.
Build self-service tools and dashboard that not only gives aggregated metrics but also provide ways to pull customer level performance insights.
Work closely with Product teams, Data Scientists, Software developers, and Data Engineers to integrate upstream data sources and automated reporting outputs to downstream systems.

Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
