Key job responsibilities • Own and drive the long range global demand forecast, testing demand assumptions through data and benchmarking analysis to inform data-driven optimizations. • Partner with communications systems engineers and satellite engineers to understand and model the financial tradeoffs of various technical decisions related to the satellites or the Kuiper constellation • Develop version-controlled demand scenarios to inform leadership decisions related to long-lead satellite and payload plans • Partner with finance and business (region and country leads) to support Long Range Plan (LRP) development, and continually optimize demand forecasting for each geographic region. • Work with PM-T and data engineering counterparts to integrate the demand forecast with downstream Business, Finance, and Supply Chain systems and processes. • Define performance-to-plan reporting and instrumentation requirements, to enable stakeholders to self-serve and conduct deep dive analysis post-launch.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
