Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Key job responsibilities
- Precisely clean and inspect aerospace hardware using specialized techniques and equipment
- Ensure components meet strict quality standards before assembly or further processing
- Utilize specialized cleaning solutions and methods for intricate parts with tight tolerances
- Adhere to strict quality standards and maintain accurate documentation
- Handle hazardous materials following proper safety protocols in a cleanroom environment
- Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly
- Identify equipment requirements and process improvements
- Manage floor stock inventory
- Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet company deliverables
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Contribute to improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
Work Schedule :
Standard shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM (may vary based on program needs) Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as required

The successful candidate will have experience cleaning tight tolerance aerospace components. The desired candidate will have experience in a fast paced machining environment.
About the team
The Kuiper machine shop provides development fabrication capabilities as well as future production machining. These operations occur in our Redmond facilities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,120 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $87,360 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
