In This Role, You Will

Drive the development of advanced AI-driven content creation systems

Contribute to the strategy for next-generation audio discovery and fan engagement features

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate state-of-the-art AI models

Play a key role in high-impact projects that directly influence Amazon Music's growth and competitiveness

Help bridge the gap between technical innovation and user-centric design in the audio industry

Key job responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of AI-driven product strategies for Amazon Music's audio content creation and personalization features.

Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to define product requirements, roadmaps, and success metrics for AI-powered audio experiences.

Partner with research and data science teams to translate complex AI technologies into user-friendly features that enhance music and audio discovery.

Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Develop and present business cases to senior leadership for new AI-driven initiatives and features.

Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the product team, encouraging creative problem-solving and risk-taking.

Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to integrate third-party AI technologies and content sources as needed.

Continuously evaluate and optimize existing AI features based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends, identifying potential applications for Amazon Music.

A day in the life

Your day begins with reviewing AI model performance metrics and customer feedback. Midday, you collaborate with our licensing team.

In the afternoon, you analyze industry trends and brainstorm innovative features with your team, including visual content experiences. You also work closely with our Applied Generative Intelligence (AGI) group to explore AI applications.

You conclude by presenting updates to leadership, always focusing on enhancing the customer experience through advanced technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 8 years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
