You should possess strong UX skills and a deep knowledge of standard web and mobile components and patterns.If you have a passion for building the future of design systems and having fun doing it, then Meridian is the team for you!Key job responsibilities Develop, evolve, and champion all aspects of the Meridian Design System.Contribute to the design and UX roadmap for Meridian.Collaborate with design and development teams inside and outside of Operations that leverage Meridian for their efforts.Present design solutions and gracefully defend your design decisions to the team and partners.Communicate clearly with both internal and external customers.Provide design support to teams using or looking to adopt the design system.About the team Known for their deep design system knowledge and love of board games, the Meridian team includes 5 designers, 6 developers, a program manager, and 8 dogs. The majority of the team is based in Bellevue, WA and three of our team members are based in Minneapolis, MN.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of design experience3 years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experienceHave an available online portfolioPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experienceExperience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.This position will remain posted until filled.
