About the Role
This position requires a highly skilled Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to join our team in Bristol, IN. As a key member of our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing material handling equipment and automated systems, ensuring smooth operations in the facility.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various tasks, including:
• Installing, maintaining and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment
• Conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more
• Maintaining a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility
• Tracking and storing department inventory
• Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
• 1 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• 2 years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
• 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
• 2 years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading knowledge
• 2 years of experience demonstrating Safety Standards
• 1 years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems
